Triangle Game Initiative, in conjunction with the Digital Game Expo and Wake County Economic Development, is pleased to announce the first annual Triangle Game Conference, April 29 and 30, 2009 in the Raleigh Convention Center and Marriott City Center.

The Research Triangle Park region is home to more than 30 game companies, employing over 1,000 people - one of the largest concentrations of game development companies in the U.S., including luminaries such as Epic and Red Storm. Triangle Game Conference will present a program including a keynote by Epic Games and five tracks with content drawing on the strengths of the region:

In addition to over 35 different lectures and panels, Triangle Game Conference will also feature a two-day Expo and Career Fair in the spectacular new Raleigh Convention Center Exhibit Hall.

Global Game Jam

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the first of its kind: a game Jam that takes place in the same 48 hours all over the world! The global Game Jam will start at 5:00PM Friday, January 30, 2009 through 5:00PM Sunday, February 1, 2009, (all times local).

The Carolina Games Summit will be held 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC. Tickets are available to the public for $10 each and may be purchased online or at the door.
